#### Description of issue
Snowmen, when aggressed, cause hypothermia due to the chilling effect they produce with their shots. This could potentially kill someone or otherwise render them immobile. Wearing a blanket didn't really help.
#### Difference between expected and actual behavior
I expected not to get hypothermia from getting into a snowman snowball fight
I did, and got stunned hard at one point ("`You can't feel your hands!`")

Basically the idea is to minimize the shit you'd have to spawn every time you were to restart the serb to test something. When you're testing something like, say, a new gun you're coding, it's simple to just spawn it in since it's just one thing, but quality of life is not having to spawn a toolbox and spare ID and atmos suit etc etc.
QoL for testing:
- Starting area should immediately have a loaded toolbelt and admin ID within hand's reach
- Prepared metal and glass and rglass sheets
- Atmos suit with prepared oxygen tank and jetpack
Stuff that would be a bitch to spawn in if you had to test something with them:
- Gateway
- Surgery table with tools, incl. the advanced tools. A pre-spawned human would be cool too
- Chemmaster and chemdispenser
- Cryo, which is hell to make from scratch. Freezer should start on if possible
- I've needed to test things with the cloner a couple times, would be nice to have one with infinite biomass. Also an energy axe to "ease" the cloning process.
- Full R&D set, with starting materials. No need to have stuff to scan since you get the MAXIMUM SCIENCE debug option right in the menu.
- Hydroponics, though probably doesn't need many trays
- Telepad
- Maybe a compact row of gas miners, like you see in Deff
- Cargo shuttle?
Other stuff:

The only reason the lights on shuttles are ever on is that they start on and don't update or something. I don't really know. All I know is that if you replace a light on a shuttle, it will be off and impossible to turn on. This is mildly annoying for most shuttles and mildly catastrophic for the salvage shuttle, as its spiders immediately break almost all of its lights so it can never be lit again without admin intervention or dumb things like leaving lanterns around.
Wizardcrying wanted me to explicitly mention that this also applies to the escape pods.
Also, oddly, ghosts can blink the lights on shuttles without them permanently turning off, but only once on each light. After that, they don't respond to clicks.

Basic Machines
- Gas Chromatography - This machine is a great baseline when you want to use all the anomalist machines. It allows one to test the compatibility of carrier fluids against the sample fluid. It also identifies types of tests that are applicable when using that carrier fluid. Try using the common carrier fluids such as the one applicable to the material type (field type), carbon, or iron.
- Ion Mobility- This machine is used to identify what quantity of the carrier fluid is present. Basically, the higher the number, the more likely that’s the material your anomaly is made out of, but this device can only test one carrier fluid and will give no results if there is none of that reactive agent present.
- Accelerator - Used to examine the age of the material, only works on the billions of years scale.
- Isotope Ratio - Used to examine the age of the material, only accurate up to a billion years.
So, the functions of these machines can be effectively replaced by keeping notes on where you took the strange rock sample from, or is just lore fluff.
There's been a bit of discussion on removing these and instead replacing it with Xenobotany (Giving it more room to breathe and actually being useful) which would also free up the current area that xenobotany currently takes up for a break room (Basically somewhere to put a washing machine, something that xenoarch needs if it needs to use plasma to test large artifacts)
Putting this here for more of a easier way to log the discussion for ideas and such, save it disappearing into the void of SS13 logs
