When the stage 2 singulo checks for shield generators to bounce off of, it checks 3 tiles away rather than 2. Essentially, singulo movement treats 3x3 singulos as if they were 5x5.
This results in two things:
One, like a really infuriating DVD screensaver, the stage 2 singulo will never bounce off the shield generators, always stop 1 tile before.

If a singulo is created too close to the border, when it grows to stage 2, it will think it's 5x5, not 3x3 like it really is. So its movement checks the tiles on the OTHER SIDE of the containment field, and thus thinks it's OK to move that way.
Theoretically, fixing this would be as simple as changing this 3 to 2.

It seems to primarily happen when mirrors are hit by an emitter beam while the mirror isn't set up properly, makes a weird infinite laser that stays after the emitter turns off(does damage to things that cross it and all).
Wew, so someone stacked a bunch of these emitter beams on the shard and this reading came out

You can inject yourself with 500 tricord and 500 dermaline. In theory, you should be getting nasty "side effects", right?
No, you'll ocassionally get some messages about your head hurting or your tummy feeling light. That's about it. You'll still be healing constantly from the 1000 units worth of healing chemicals in your bloodstream. Even if they actually worked as intended they can be completely countered by using more gigantic doses of OTHER chemicals, which does absolutely nothing to fix the problem.
Commonly when playing MD I see doctors just stuff a patient full of antitox or repeatedly slam the "INJECT 10U DERMALINE" button on the sleeper because hey, it doesn't do anything bad. And they're almost right.
Let's please just move on to overdoses.
