Getting blood out of monkeys cured via radium is a bit more difficult now
Created by: JustSumBody
Revision: 27b87436 Due to the change in #11779 that made it impossible to get blood out of dead monkeys, it is more difficult now to extract antibodies from a cured monkey for virology purposes. When monkeys are cured via radium, they take a shit ton of toxin damage(in addition to any damage they sustained from having the radium in their system), and you can end up in a case where this ends up killing it before being able to extract the antibodies.
What this now means is that you have to either dose up the monkey on antitox or just use a human subject instead. The issue really is that it's not immediately obvious to people curing viruses now, no changelog and the wiki makes no mention of it so people are panicking trying to cure viruses thinking there's some weird bug going on.
Not really sure a good fix besides just changing the wiki to reflect this or revert it, both of which are kind of shit solutions.
