Candy Maker producing invisible candy

Title pretty much sums it up. Although it seems to be a bit different for some things. Basically put any food item you want made into candy into the machine. Process it, and a piece of candy with no sprite will pop out, which you can check with alt+click. However, some stuff like candy canes are visible but the color between the red stripes will be invisible. Lollipops (listed as sucker) will just have the stick present. So I guess somewhere along the line the system fucks up and drops whatever color it had.
