Can't Get Research High Enough to Finish Phazon

Apparently building a phase array and the phazon boards both require Bluespace research 10, and it's only possible to get to Bluespace 6 or 7 by deconstructing pieces of the phazon mech. As far as I know, nothing exists that can bridge the gap in research.
