Removing all full reinforced windows from the map

  • All full reinforced windows have been removed. It's about as simple as it gets
  • In some cases (read : Research and Vox Outpost), replace with 'normal window setup' (grilles, plating, panes)

My personal reasoning for all of this :

  • Full reinforced windows, layered ABOVE an already full window setup, are glitchy and terrible to repair. You can't drag them off the tile once de-anchored and naturally can't push them back in. Furthermore, you can't build them back fully, and if you don't it ends up looking terrible
  • Full reinforced windows only give a false sense of safety. Any shitler can break a window. What usually makes secure windows safe is the electrified grille, but any greyshit with a hour or two in the game knows how to apply shards to electrified grilles
  • They cause a lot of balancing trouble. Putting a full reinforced window is equivalent to putting reinforced walls, and if done frivolously can give some random rooms an EXTREME amount of safety
  • They don't make break-ins any more or less sneakier. Anyone with a working brain can deduce from screwdriver and crowbar sounds that someone is trying to break in. This doesn't even include the fact windows usually give way into public areas

A solution could likely be designed, like giving secure areas a snowflake 'super-reinforced window', but I'm one to believe the solution is somewhere else. Maybe we should make electrified grilles robust again, or better yet, estimate that secure areas can only be that secure
